We are always looking for pre-loved LPs, CDs, and DVDs (in good condition).
We also buy used turntables.
We also buy quality turntables – even if they need a bit of repair. We like brands such as Technics, Pioneer, Bang & Olufsen, Thorens, Denon, Sony, and Kenwood.
Our guidelines for digital media . . .
We generally pay 1/2 of what we think we can sell the item for, this is an industry standard. Most of our used CD's & DVD's sell for between $3.99 - $7.99 meaning we pay between $2.00 - $4.00 a disc. If it’s likely to sell in our shop (and if we don’t already have it in stock), we are interested.
Things to remember when selling Vinyl LPs, 7”, and 78s . . .
Not all Beatles & Elvis albums are worth $1,000. Sorry – we realllly wish they were! But, they sold MILLIONS of records and there's a lot of them floating around. If you have a bunch of nice condition rock n' roll, reggae, vintage R&B and soul, jazz, blues, punk/new wave, indie, hip hop, modern composer/avant garde, old-school country & folk music from all over the world, by all means, GET IN CONTACT WITH US.
We also like oddball records from tv, movie, baseball & game show personalities as well as spoken word records.
*Most* comedy, classical, show tunes, 40’s-60’s crooners’ LPs are a tough sell. Condition is important. Records need to have covers and be in "very good" or "like new" condition. Mild wear is usually okay. Feel free to call first if you’re unsure.
We make house calls!
Yes we do – for big collections (400 pieces or more). Please call for an appointment: 317-283-LUNA (5862). Good lighting and some kind of organization are very much appreciated! On house calls, we do not bring cash – company checks only. At the shop, we are happy to offer cash.
