This is the first time either title has been available on vinyl.

High Fidelity is a 2000 American comedy-drama film directed by Stephen Frears. It stars John Cusack, Iben Hjejle, Jack Black, Todd Louiso, Tim Robbins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Lisa Bonet. Kishi Bashi – String Quartet Live LP (Joyful Noise)
Kishi Bashi is the pseudonym for violin virtuoso, singer, and composer K Ishibashi, who has recorded, toured, and collaborated with artists such as Regina Spektor, Sondre Lerche, and of Montreal.
String Quartet Live consists of nine songs from both 151a and Lighght, performed live by K and an accompanying string ensemble. Where his first two releases featured an array of stringed instruments, percussion and electronic elements, the new live album finds K's familiar songs reimagined, allowing his soaring vocals to take center stage above a foundation of interweaving strings.

Talk Talk – Laughing Stock [Reissue/1991] LP (Polydor)
Laughing Stock is the fifth and final studio album by Talk Talk. Released in 1991, it was the only album the band released on the jazz-based Verve Records, after acrimoniously leaving EMI. Virtually ignored upon its initial release, Laughing Stock continues to grow in stature and influence by leaps and bounds. Picking up where Spirit Of Eden left off, the album operates outside of the accepted sphere of rock to create music which is both delicate and intense; recorded with a large classical ensemble, it defies easy categorization, conforming to very few structural precedents. Like its predecessor, Spirit Of Eden, the album featured improvised instrumentation from a large ensemble of musicians, including as many as seven violists on occasion, and the lyrical themes are often religious.

This Heat
– This Heat [Reissue/1979] LP (Modern Classics)
– Health And Efficiency [Reissue/1980] 12” (Modern Classics)
– Deceit [Reissue/1981] LP (Modern Classics)
Isn't it so often the case that the most innovative works of art – the ones that break the ground where others follow – are the ones that seem to reach only the ears of those who take those ideas and run with them? So it is with This Heat and their releases – 1979’s
This Heat, 1980’s Health And Efficiency, and 1981’s Deceit. Within each of these, the seeds of post-punk, avant rock, noise rock and post-rock can be found.

Free Your Mind… And Your Ass Will follow, Funkadelic's second LP, is a straight up masterpiece from the stoniest, strangest funk and R&B group of all-time. Let's Take It To The Stage was the work of a group that had turned a corner, a combination of all the disparate aspects of Funkadelic’s music up to that point: the extended jams, abrasive guitars, smooth ballads, direct vocals, psychedelic ingredients, sexual lyrics and dirty funk into the most short and to-the-point songs they’d ever recorded. Sonny Smith
– Sees All Knows All LP (Empty Cellar)
Sonny Smith (Sonny & The Sunsets) has written a monologue, an hour long story, called
Sees All Knows All. A tale of love, sex, drugs, spaceships, romance, hallucinations, bitter tears and champagne. Guests include Kelley Stoltz, Shayde Sartin, Rusty Miller, James Finch, German Carracosca, and Jordi Llobet. The result is a Joe Frank meets Michael Hurley meets R. Crumb production: a dry, witty, autobiographical look at the meaning(s) of life from an underdog with deep nostalgia for America's lost folk culture and a strong sense kinship with the marginalized.

UK Subs
– Occupied [Reissue/1996] LP (Let Them Eat Vinyl)
Classic Subs reissued on colored vinyl.

Sundays & Cybele
– Heaven LP (Beyond Beyond Is Beyond)
Describing music of great power and great expanse as “cinematic” can be fitting, if perhaps overused. When it comes to the music of Tokyo's Sundays & Cybele—a Japanese band speaking the universal language of explosive, kaleidoscopic sound, for a result easily translated as both heavy and heavenly—it's incredibly appropriate. Sundays & Cybele seem always to be reaching for peak experience, demonstrated herein by lead guitar breaks that seems to merge the differences between Ash Ra Tempel and The Dead Boys into a single, illuminating whole where Orange amps threaten to explode in a transcendent array of colors.

Wall
– Wall 7” (Wharf Cat)
A certain self-awareness of the very question is at the heart of the Wall apparatus and listening along as they discover themselves throughout this EP is invigorating and scary. Tone and rhythm whirl together, like an emergency exit door choreographed to swing flawlessly in time to its damned and chaotic Pavlovian alarm bell. From the first rigid and cautious seconds of their EP, Wall unleash an uncanny self-awareness that methodically slips pages ripped from demented no wave legacies through a shredder of their own design.

Soundtrack
– Beat Street [Reissue/1984] LP (Friday Music)
The classic 1984 major motion picture
Beat Street centered around the New York City hip-hop culture of the early 1980s while the film's integral soundtrack was produced by Harry Belafonte and helped not only jumpstart the rap, breakdance and freestyle movements but the careers of many of it's pioneering artists like Afrika Bambaataa, Grandmaster Melle Mel and Arthur Baker as well.
Spacin’
– Total Freedom LP (Richie)

Total Freedom, guitarist & vocalist Jason Killinger blazes the path, lead guitarist Paul Sukeena and bassist Sean Hamilton vamp on economical electric chugs while drummer Eva Killinger reprises in her role as thee undisputed master of basement motorik.

Mike Watt
– Ball-Hog Or Tugboat? [Reissue/1995] 2xLP (ORG Music)

Björk – Vulnicura Strings LP (One Little Indian)
Recently released on CD – now available on vinyl. Bj
örk presents a strings version of her eighth studio studio album, Vulnicura. The original version of Vulnicura layered the boom and crack of electronic beats with an intense vocal melody and incredible string arrangements by Björk which have been performed live with a fifteen chair orchestra. This new version is musically wholly comprised of strings, with new violin solos by Una Sveinbjarnardóttir and strings recorded by a Viola Organista. Björk used the only Viola Organista in the world to perform some of the arrangements; an instrument which was designed originally by Leonardo Da Vinci but not built until after his lifetime. The instrument uses a friction belt to vibrate individual strings (similar to a violin), with the strings selected by pressing keys on the keyboard (similar to an organ). The instrument was recorded in Krakow, Poland by it's constructor Slawomir Zubrzycki and here is where the album reached completion.

Active since the mid-'70s, Bastien is best known for building automated orchestras. His previous album,
Machinations, was released on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label in 2012. Live instrumentals, created with prepared trumpets, African kundi harp, Javanese rabab, sanza, electric harpsichord, bass, drums, and gongs, were then superimposed on top.

Christian Death – The Scriptures [Reissue/1987] LP (Season Of Mist)
Christian Death's 1986 album
Atrocities continued their evolution as both the gothic/death rock genre's leading architects and provocateurs. Spearheaded by Valor Kand with long-time members Gitane Demone and David Glass, Atrocities marked a lyrical shift to a more direct attack on organized religion rather than a subversive approach. The Scriptures (1987) saw bandleader Valor Kand take an even bolder step forward with the emphasis on world religion inside the group's grandiose goth-rock framework. Gatefold colored vinyl reissues.

Malign
– A Sun To Scorch 10" (Ajna Offensive)
To paraphrase our fiends at No Clean Singing: "you enjoy writhing black metal extremity, and riffs that swarm with reptilian menace and hammer powerfully at the gates of doom; your pulse quickens at the sound of a drummer who rocks and blasts with mechanistic precision; you relish bestial growls that go straight for your throat with teeth bared; you crave black metal that gets stuck in your head like a pick-axe, and atmospheres of infernal menace, befitting the rising of a vengeful sun that emanates death.
